The resort will be operated by HSC Group Hospitality, a Georgian-Swiss hospitality management company active across hotel development, operations and asset management. The project will become the first international hotel chain property in Gurjaani Municipality and only the third internationally branded hotel in the Kakheti region.
Giorgi Dolidze, CEO of HSC Group Hospitality, said: “We believe Best Western Premier Vachnadziani will play an important role in showcasing Kakheti to international travelers while contributing to the continued growth of Georgia’s tourism sector.” He further noted that “the strength of the Best Western brand, its global distribution platform, established loyalty programs and international network made BWH Hotels an ideal partner for this project. We are excited to bring a new level of hospitality to the region while preserving and celebrating the authentic character that makes Kakheti unique.”
Wytze van den Berg, Vice President EMEA at BWH Hotels, said: “We are delighted to welcome Best Western Premier Vachnadziani to our growing portfolio in Georgia,” said Wytze van den Berg, Vice President EMEA, BWH Hotels. “Kakheti has become one of the country’s most compelling leisure destinations, attracting visitors seeking authentic cultural experiences, exceptional wine tourism and distinctive hospitality offerings. This signing reflects our commitment to expanding in strategically important destinations and providing hotel owners with the brands, commercial support and global reach needed to succeed in today’s marketplace”.
HSC Group Hospitality and Capitol HPS facilitated the signing through their longstanding relationship with the ownership group. The project comes as hotel owners and developers show increasing interest in using international brands to support regional tourism development and attract additional guest segments.
